At Nakatumble, our 6 acres of vibrant tropical gardens allow us to grow fresh herbs, vegetables, fruits, and foliage, which we use to craft exceptional meals from breakfast to dinner and everything in between.

When you stay with us, you’re not just having a meal - you’re indulging in a luxurious culinary experience curated by your very own private chef. Every bite reflects our commitment to freshness and the beauty of our surroundings, giving you a genuine taste of Vanuatu. Our close-knit relationships with local fishermen and butchers enhance this experience. By sourcing directly from these trusted providers, we ensure you receive only the finest cuts and catches, showcasing the pure flavours of both land and sea.

One of the unique aspects of dining at Nakatumble is our ever-changing menu. Instead of a fixed daily menu on repeat, we offer a fresh, tailored experience that adapts to the season and your personal preferences. Whether you’re here with family or celebrating a special occasion, we design the menu to fit YOUR needs.

We cater to a wide range of dietary preferences, including kosher, vegan, vegetarian, and various food sensitivities. Our custom-designed commercial kitchen allows us to meet everyone’s needs, ensuring that no one feels like an afterthought. If someone in your group is gluten-free, for example, we’ll customise the menu with delicious options that everyone can enjoy, so that every guest feels equally catered to.

While our menu may vary, our dedication to quality remains constant. We also keep in mind that you might be arriving with hungry teenagers or a desire for simple tastes versus bold flavours, we think about it all, we are catering for you!

We pour care into every dish, hoping that each meal will be a true taste sensation. You will leave feeling like the menu had been made JUST FOR YOU—because it truly had!  To help make this possible, before your visit, we’ll reach out to understand your tastes and dietary requirements. Upon arrival, we’ll keep you informed about what’s available during your stay, so you can look forward to each meal with us.

Families will appreciate our flexibility, as we can accommodate children dining at different times or in different spots around the property, allowing you to dine in peace. We also encourage kids to get involved in the kitchen, creating wonderful memories as they learn, for example, how to make pawpaw salad or Roti from scratch. Even though our commercial kitchen is in a separate pavilion, which offers maximum privacy during your stay, we often find that guests enjoy pulling up a stool in the kitchen with us and chatting about their day while we prepare meals together.

We kindly ask guests to inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences at the time of booking, or with as much notice as possible. As we are on an island, supplies can vary, but we’ll do our best to source what you need in advance of your arrival to maximise our flexibility for you.
